In 2020, the Australian government announced grants of between one million to twenty million dollars for manufacturing companies to ‘scale up, collaborate and commercialise.’
If your manufacturing business is focused on one of the following government identified priority areas, you might be eligible for a co-funded grant where the government matches your investment, dollar for dollar (minimum spend applies):
- Medical products
- Resources Technology & Critical Minerals processing
- Food and beverage
- Recycling and clean energy
This funding will be delivered in three different ways
- $1.3 billion Modern Manufacturing Initiative
- $107.2 million Supply Chain Resilience Initiative
- $52.8 million Manufacturing Modernisation Fund round 2.
