FANUC CR-7iA Collaborative Robot Applications
A small 6-axis robot with a payload of 7kg, the FANUC CR-7iA Collaborative robot has improved range of motion over the bulkier CR-14iA. The payoff being a larger footprint, meaning that the cobot is suitable for mounting internally to larger machines. It’s longer reach of 717mm, also allows for mounting outside a machine with the capability to reach inside.
Taking charge and executing repetitive, manual tasks at the same speed and agility as a human is one benefit of this cobot. This includes in a common workspace like an assembly area, or quality checking area, or even being mounted near a machine which humans can also access, for maintenance or observation. This robot comes in a standard length and long length version, with the difference being the length of the outer arm. The iL variant provides 911 mm of reach, versus the regular 717 mm available on the 7iA standard variant.
