Our client, a lawn bowls manufacturer, required a robot to tend to their Okuma Multbus B200.
We installed a robot from the FANUC R-2000 Range. The machining process is a 2-operation process with Op1 occurring in the main spindle before the part is transferred to the sub-spindle for the second Op. We integrated a robot with the aim to extend the operation of the well-proven machining cycle from a single shift to 3 shifts and did so successfully.
